Mustering

I am delighted to report that the latest new member of the Friends of Charles Darwin is the great, great, great, great nephew of poor little Musters. He is the magnificently named Patrick Havelock Auchmuty Musters of Southend on Sea, Essex, England.

Patrick says that he is going to try to get some of his relatives to join, in which case, we might soon have a muster of Musters.

Writer and photographer Richard Carter, FCD is the founder of the Friends of Charles Darwin. He lives in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire.WebsiteFacebookTwitterNewsletterBooks

“…wonderfully droll, witty and entertaining… At their best Carter’s moorland walks and his meandering intellectual talk are part of a single, deeply coherent enterprise: a restless inquiry into the meaning of place and the nature of self.”
