Darwin on homeopathy

A recent post on a homeopathy website irked me somewhat by describing Charles Darwin as a user of homeopathy. I left a comment, which they chose not to publish. They are perfectly entitled to do this; I routinely delete creationists' comments from this site. Here, though, for the record, is what I said in my comment (I write from memory, but the following is the general gist):

Charles Darwin to his cousin on homeopathy:

You speak about Homoeopathy; which is a subject which makes me more wrath, even than does Clair-voyance: clairvoyance so transcends belief, that one's ordinary faculties are put out of question, but in Homoeopathy common sense & common observation come into play, & both these must go to the Dogs, if the infinetesimal doses have any effect whatever.

Charles Darwin tried all sorts of quack treatments, but he was certainly no fan of homeopathy.

(Please note, I also routinely delete homeopaths' comments.)
