One and a half decades!

I have only just realised that today is the fifteenth anniversary of the official foundation of the Friends of Charles Darwin. It all started with a letter to the Chief Cashier of the Bank of England. The rest, as they say, is history.

Happy Birthday to us!

By an amazingly fortuitous coincidence, I am at my parents' house this evening, and we happen to be drinking finest Scotch whisky.

Cheers!

“…wonderfully droll, witty and entertaining… At their best Carter’s moorland walks and his meandering intellectual talk are part of a single, deeply coherent enterprise: a restless inquiry into the meaning of place and the nature of self.”
