Isn't Darwin's Theory of Evolution totally at odds with the account of creation given in the Book of Genesis?

Yes it is.

Whether you choose to believe a theory expounded by perhaps the most observant scientist who ever lived, which is supported by 150 years’ worth of, quite frankly, overwhelming scientific evidence, and is the cornerstone of the modern biological sciences, or whether you prefer to believe either of the two conflicting creation myths from a best-selling collection of short stories of unknown provenance, is really down to you. But, if you do plump for the latter, might I politely suggest that you are probably reading the wrong website?
