This book is for age 8 and up. I am 6 though and I understood it.
The book told me about his family and friends and where he lived. There is a map too that told me all the places he explored.
I liked doing the kitchen experiment - that taught me about density. I used vinegar, sugar, oil, milk, washing up liquid and water.
I liked the bit about the garden and collecting the insects. The book has given me ideas about how to collect them.
At the end I liked the pictures and story about his life. It taught me about Charles Darwin.
