Book review: ‘Charles Darwin, Geologist’ by Sandra Herbert

What Charles Darwin did for geology.

Charles Darwin, GeologistIf he hadn't worked out the secret of life with his theory of evolution by means of Natural Selection, Charles Darwin would no doubt have been almost as famous for his important geological work.

This is a meticulously researched and well-written book, but will probably only be of interest to real Darwin groupies like me.

Writer and photographer Richard Carter, FCD is the founder of the Friends of Charles Darwin. He lives in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire.WebsiteFacebookTwitterNewsletterBooks
