Galápagos: the Islands that Changed the World

by 2 Entertain Video (for the BBC)

Totally awesome three-part series about some rather special islands.

Galapagos

When Galápagos was first shown on television in 2006, I sat staring at the screen open-mouthed. It is one of the most visually stunning documentaries I have ever seen. Three hours of amazing photography, marvellously narrated by Tilda Swinton. If you haven't seen the series yet, you're in for one hell of a treat. This is the Galápagos up close and personal.

Most of the documentary is about the wonderful wildlife of the Galápagos archipelago, but a young Charles Darwin makes several appearances. The actor they chose is perfect for the part, and his wardrobe is utterly convincing.
